Salomon Sight Snowboard 2025

Salomon

The Sight is an all-mountain snowboard with a freeride inspired shape. A tapered directional shape enhances turning sensation and float, with Cross Profile camber for stability on groomers. Using cork rails the Sight makes hard pack feel like butter.

Rider Style + Ability

For snowboarders with limited experience on snow but eager to progress. Products suited for beginners provide a more forgiving experience, allowing for more rapid progression along the learning curve.

Shape + Flex

A medium flex has a balance of playfulness and response, fitting a variety of terrain and ability levels.

BOARD PROFILE - Cross Profile

Camber between the feet for better control, pop and landing stability. Rocker on tip & tail for effortless floatation forward and switch.

SHAPE - Tapered directional

Tail width is slightly tapered (2-20mm). This loosens up turning initiation and improves floatation in deeper snow without sacrificing edge hold on hardpack.

SIDECUT - Quadratic

A blend of elliptic curves for easy turn initiation, effortless direction changes and fluid edge to edge transitions.

Construction + Core

FIBER & RESIN - BA MD fiberglass: Medium density European-made fiberglass layers guarantee a consistent quality level, for light and lively boards.

ADDITIVES - Popster: The core is strategically milled inside of the insert packs, allowing the board to flex more naturally underfoot and transfer energy into the nose and tail for added pop.

INSERTS: 4X2 INSERTS

SUSPENSION - Royal Cork Pads: Cork blocks inserted into the high-pressure zones of our ABS Sidewalls dampen vibration and mellows the big impacts.

Base + Edges

BASE MATERIAL - Extruded EG: A harder compound than Extruded, Salomon Extruded EG takes the easy maintenance of a non-sintered base and adds Electra for increased gliding characteristics.

BASE FINISHING - Medium stone finish: A medium structure finish that improves our fast sintered base glide. Quicker in all snow conditions, from cold morning corduroy to spring slush.

BASE FINISHING - Natural wax: A paraffin-free wax compound made from natural ingredients. A non-pollutant compound held to the highest standards of glide speed.

EDGE FINISHING - All-Mountain EB: All-Mountain ready, right out of the wrapper. Equipped with a 1-degree bevel in the nose and tail and a 2-degree bevel between the feet for superior edge hold and no hang ups.

Core

Aspen Strong: CNC-selected high-density wood strips for the inserts and rail zones results in improved impact resistance and a predictable flex from opening day to spring slush.
