Nidecker Play Snowboard - Wide

Nidecker

Primed for Progression

With one of the friendliest flex patterns in the range, the Play offers entry-level riders a reliable platform for progression. Its CamRock profile feels planted under your feet and less twitchy than traditional camber – ideal for cruising the piste or learning your first tricks. It also comes loaded with a full wood core, bomb-proof extruded base and quality construction throughout so it will take the inevitable knocks in its stride.

By lifting the tips from the widest points, the Play's FlatRock design makes it harder to hang up, boosting your confidence.

The N-5000 Extruded base is super tough and glides well even without regular waxing.

The Play features tried and trusted construction, including Biax fiberglass and a full poplar core.

Shape + Flex

Soft - Forgiving and fun. A soft flex helps lighter riders control their board more easily and builds confidence when dialing those first turns.

CamRock - Mixes classic camber between the bindings with matching amounts of rocker at the nose and tail. By shortening the contact edge, the board feels a little more relaxed, whether you're initiating turns or landing tricks.

Construction + Core

Classic Sandwich: Our standard construction sets a high bar. A wood core is sandwiched between the base and top materials and protected by durable ABS or TPU sidewalls. Proven, high quality design that won’t break the bank.

Absorbnid: An innovative top layer designed to absorb unwanted vibrations. Enjoy a smooth ride with less fatigue.

4x2/5: 5 rows of inserts at 2 cm intervals is the industry standard pattern and works with any binding on the market.

Biax Standard: Fiberglass is woven in two directions at 90° to offer a forgiving flex with plenty of torsional feel. It's a versatile and lightweight construction that's been tried and tested through the decades.

Full Wood Core: Our tried and trusted poplar core. If you like a classic ride with plenty of pop and lots of life, this is the core for you.

Base + Edges

N-5000 Extruded: Our extruded N-5000 base sets the standard. It's exceptionally durable and stays fast even without regular waxing.
